A sponge can only soak up so much,

Then it must be squeezed out, wrung out so to speak.

Folks, that's what we as Christians are about,

Soaking it up, wringing it out.

Then we need to soak up some more.

If not we just dry up and become hard,

Like a sponge left out of the water.

Where are we at in our walk with Christ?

Are we soaking .being squeezed, or dried out?

Too many are either soaking all the time

Or dried out.

We don't like to be squeezed,

But we must, to be able to be used,

As a sponge.

Gary,

So true!  We are called to be in relationship with Christ and not dry out to his purpose for our lives!  Blessings,

Rose
