Meaningful Lent Season

Sad but with Hope

Well, since my last posting the person I have been praying for healing in his health and spirit has died (in May). And even tho it has been a difficult, difficult situation and I am sad that he passed and reconcilation did not occur between him and our family, I hold on to the HOPE I have in my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, that it did occur between him and the Lord.I have one positive bit of info that gives me this glimmer of hope in that a person from his past (30 + years past) witnessed to him re…See More

Restore My Health

Okay - it's been awhile since my last post but a lot has been going on. . .What does it mean for the Lord to restore one's health? I continually ask God to heal me (and my family) "emotionally, physically, and spiritually" and He is ever faithful - He has indeed and continues to answer my prayer. Looking forward to Spring!

In Northeast Ohio last week, we had a taste of Spring - a few days of warmth and sunshine - it was WONDERFUL after a very long, cold, and snowy winter. Today it is 40ish and rainy. But the HOPE of warmer weather is on my mind. . . .it won't be long now! I want to give a "shout out" to my nephew and his wife on the birth of their first child - a boy named Patrick! Worshipping the Lord Today!

I feel so priviledged to be able to worhip the Lord today with no fear or hesiation. I know there are some and probably many folks who cannot say the same and do not have the freedoms I enjoy. Sad but with Hope
