Haelie, Isn't what you're saying related to a few things that God Himself has said to us:   On the 7th day, having finished His task, God rested from all His work. (idea of one of the reasons God established the idea of the…

Great to hear Lizzy is getting so much love & support in these critical days. I can't imagine what her Mom & Dad are going thru - surgery, infection, seizures. I'm sure "scary" doesn't begin to describe the emotional…

Haelie, Thanks for the thoughtful reflection. Last night Jan & I sat on the front porch & watchged & listened as a HUGH thunderstorm went thru our area. It knocked out our sattalite signal on our TV, so we decided to go out & sit…

Ron Heasley replied to Marylee's discussion 'My brothers and cousin' in the group Those Closest To Us
Marylee, THANK YOU for remembering that your 1st calling as a believer is to LOVE. Too many people (& esp. Christians) put the cart before the horse. How many times did Jesus show compassion 1st? It's not that Jesus didn't recognize…

Ron,good hearing from you. How's your family and church? as for us as a church we are grateful to God who has given us the grace to purchased a piece of land in order to build a place of worship for where we are now is a rented school auditorium and we do not have much time to service doing the course of the week.We are trusting Him to provide us the funding to start the building process. As a family we need your prayers brother as we have been asked out from where we are living and I do not have a cent to relocate my family yet I am wholly and sorely depending on Him for it is he who told me to go fulled time and not to do any secular work to be able to sustain my family doing such a time and I am convinced that He is well able.

Ron Thank you for your kind words. I think all those featured deserve a huge pat on the back. As with most churches this community has been brought to life by the dedication of a few. Without you this community would be a much poorer place. Now our task is to keep it going, to draw in those on the fringes and to look to God to do more wonderful things. I believe that it would be wise for those of us that have been featured to covet to pray for each other. I believe god has great things to do through this community and also believe that the devil will try and stop that. One of the first people suspended from this community was called Faith Jammeh (Jammer). There are people out there that want to see this community trip up and for us to trip up. I believe that prayer is the weapon we have at hand to ensure that doesn't happen. I therefroe will be praying for you all and I'd love it if you felt able to join me.

Thank you so much for your friendship and for all you are doing in this community and beyond.

Speak soon

Nathan
