My wife is with her dad in hospice as he declines from a tumor in the brain. We are not clear on his salvation and she is "standing the gap" ... should he not be able to acknowledge Him as our Savior, can we know he is saved?

Our daughter was born at prematurely at 27 weeks and weighed 2 pounds 14 3/4 ounces and 1 5 inches long. She spent 9 weeks in the Baptist NICU and we spent many sleepless nights and hours and hours watching as she struggled to survive. As many babies do in the NICU with the help of all the wonderful Doctors and Nurses she is now a healthy beautiful almost 2 year old baby girl. While in the hospital we received the book Just In Case You Ever Wonder and it really touched our hearts as we read it to our little angel. That is where my wife and mother-in-law came up with the idea to ask family and friends to buy books to be donated to babies in the NICU during the Christmas season at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN. Last year we were able to donate 72 books and this year in the first few days we have already raised enough for more than 50 books.

I just want to thank you Max Lucado for your heart touching book and I want you to know that it is inspiring many families again this Christmas season!! Our little miracle from GOD will again be delivering books to these families the week before Christmas and she is excited!!

I hope that you all have a GREAT cruise in Alaska...I was trying to figure out a way to go on it myself.....but I don't have the money to fly out to Juno. Well, maybe you will have another and I'll be able to go this time. I have always wanted to cruise around Alaska...that's one of one my dreams.
