I think the kind of Bible you have can make a difference! I think if your a new beleiver and not much knowledge of the Bible then i would concider getting a new Believers Bible. Tis kind of Bible will have extra information along with the scriptures that will help to explain what you are reading. I found it useful myself to use the Life Journal wed site and it gives to scriptures to read each day and it will walk you through the Bible in one year.
