Words of Wisdom

We all have little nuggets to share. We've read a book which contains a wonderful paragraph; heard a sermon with a wonderful phrase or have our own wisdom to share. That is not even thinking about the wonderful wisdom to be found in God's word!!See More

We all know people who are in need of prayer. Most of us need prayer ourselves. Bring your requests and those of others. Let us pray together for those in need and let us see how God answers.See More

Mom's surgery turned out okay. However, they did find one polyp, but it was non-cancerous. The doctor removed it, anyway. Thank you for praying. God bless, and to God be all my praise! :)

I'm here and doing okay. I got a new used car, so I'm now got transportation to work. Thanks for the prayers. Winter is finally over and I can't wait for the weather to warm up. Family is doing fine and dandy.

Psalm 1 - A Song of Living Water

I am not destined to become a farmer.

I grew up in the country, around cows, horses and rows and rows of tobacco. But the "green thumb" that all country boys are supposed to get? I didn't get one of those. I can't even grow mold on a piece of old piece of bread! But one thing I was getting good at growing (before moving to the city) was fruit. Especially apples and grapes. My…

Thank you for the recommendation i will definately be on the lookout for it. I am so filled with excitment and hope for the future simply because I know that God doesn't do anything halfway. We have his word that what he has begun in us and in our lives he will bring to completion. what a glorious Savior, what an AWESOME God! He has already set me free from more fears than I knew I had. Thank God that those He sets free are free indeed. I just continue to expect him to bring everythng around and restore all that has been stolen by the enemy because I am his beloved child. He will do the same for you too, dear friend. Recovery and healing are a great part of the reconciliation process we are blessed to walk through after beginning our personal relationship with our Heavenly Father. Be blessed tonight and always .

Hello Jeffrey, how are you getting along my friend? I haven't read fearless but I want to. Praise God that is exactly what God is setting me free from, fear I mean. I was so fearful at one time that I couldn't get up out of bed until a few hours before my husband was due home from work. It has been a long ten year walk where God has restored my self confidence, helped me overcome my fear of death, driving, eating out, shopping by myself, speaking up for myself, also my fear of being around men who are biiger in stature than me, migranes and anxiety attacks along with many others. I do still have things to concur but I now have first hand proof that I actually can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Way tooo funny! You aren't my "first" homosexual friend, I just don't have one right now. hahaha I was going to say something about one of the guys that I used to work with, but the only time I see him is when he comes in to work which is very rare.

Kind of funny story about him...I had been a stay at home mom for 15 yrs and the job I'm at now was the first one I was going to be back to for a long period of time. The first day I meet my asst manager and he is obviously gay. I was so nervous as to how I would act, because I don't hide the secret that I'm a Christian. What if he was a Christian basher because of how the Christian society as a whole appears to treat homosexuals. I would say after about a month of working together, I finally said something about how he feels about working with a Christian and he and I had a GREAT discussion. I mean, we'd had a great working relationship and knew that we respected each other. Of course, you should've seen my face when he would talk about a date or something. AAAAHHHH

Blessings...
