Tami replied to Godsy Girl's discussion What is the role of pastor's wives in today's culture? in the group One Thing I Ask
"I understand the humbling yourself, and since they are new, I would think that they would want to be so as to learn the church and its members better, to understand where they might fit in. But sometimes, and I include myself in this statement,…"

"That is a very good idea, but they need to humble themselves and I am not sure that is going to happen, but I feel led to support and encourage the baby christians who really don't know what the word says. "

Tami replied to Godsy Girl's discussion What is the role of pastor's wives in today's culture? in the group One Thing I Ask
"Has anyone approached them and advised them about how they are coming across to the congregation? That might be a first step. Being new, you don't want to start off on the wrong foot and alienate everyone. He may be overprotective about her as…"

Tami replied to Godsy Girl's discussion What is the role of pastor's wives in today's culture? in the group One Thing I Ask
"I have always thought of pastors wives like presidential first ladies - supporting their husbands, but quietly working behind the scenes in their own pursuits for good. The ones that I have known that I liked in the couple of churches that I visited…"

"I'm so glad, Paula that you felt you could ask this question. IT is the BEST sort of question. It's one where your conscience is speaking out louder than the incoming misinformation. Your pastor is incorrect about the nature of his…"

"I am confused. Our pastor said his wife has authority over me even outside the church and I would like scripture to support that. He said they are one and pretty much that means she also has the same authority as the pastor. Is this true?"

Joni Lamb set a good example

You may have heard about recent the controversy facing the founders of the Christian television network, Daystar.
