Ruth Febriana Christanti Langkai said… It brings me joy to hear how God is working in your life! I think we need to concider the fact that every new person we meet could very well be God! Like i said before in a discussion i started, What if the homeless person, or the single mom holding a sign asking for money to support her children, or a Vet say will work for food is God and we walk away from them.
New International Version (NIV)
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Kat G said… Thank you. My problem is that I am a 40 year old woman that has been way too dependent on my family for too long. Not financial but because I love and respect them I have always tried to think about their happiness before my own. Now I'm starting a relationship with a wonderful man that I've known over 20 years. I think we've denied feelings we had for each other so long because we knew there would be conflict. I've prayed to God that if this is not the man for me that he would take away the desire to become that close to him. It just seems that we've continued to become closer, especially over the last year and a half. Again....because I've prayed I'm at peace. I told him the other day that it wouldn't be easy but that to receive understanding we have to give understanding. We are both praying about
it.
