God never said it was going to be easy to live our lives in such a way that glorifies God but we need to always turn to God for support when times are tough and to always praise God when we receive the grace of God. I am just as quilty as everyone else when it comes to leaning on God. I think it is humane nature for us to try to fix things ourselves but at the end of the day we havn't acomplished anything on our own. I want you to take a few minutes before you arrive at your meeting and ask God to give you the words to say to help convience them that you need temporary help and that your job will start soon. I pray that you will ask God to help keep your anger under control and to she them just how thankful you are and how you appreciate their time.

Psalm 34:15-18
New International Version (NIV)
15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry; 16 but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth. 17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 66:17-20
New International Version (NIV)

17 I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. 18 If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; 19 but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. 20 Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!

Lord, I lift up Alyssa to you and ask that you continue to comfort her. Lord, I lift up her job status to you and ask that you speed up the hiring process. Lord, she has a new job but hasn’t been able to start yet and she is now experiencing financial hardship and the fear of being evicted and not having a place for her kids to live. Lord, help Alyssa to understand that you don’t wish for us to suffer but you prolong the time that you will answer a prayer so that we can become more dependent on you and it allows our faith to grow.

Lord, I ask that you fill Alyssa’s heart and soul with the Holy Spirit and allow her to hear your loving and comforting voice and give her the courage to follow the path you have chosen for her and help her understand that the speed bumps are there to slow us down when we become to comfortable in our lives and to collect out thoughts and refocus on you.

Isaiah 40:28-31
New International Version (NIV)

28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
