I just attended the first night of a bible study in my neighborhood that is using Max Lucado's Traveling Light as the base of our study.  I am a very devoted Christian and love the Lord with all my heart.  I am walking through the most difficult trial of my life right now and I seriously need someone to pray for me tonight.

Here is a funny line, among alot of others, in the Traveling Light book that made my load feel a little lighter:

The other day I tried to straighten out the wrinkles in my socks and found out I wasn't wearing any. (Max Lucado speaking about aging, Chpt. 18)

By the way...I finished this book a while back, and I plan to pass it on to my precious son when he is old enough to read it. I wrote notes to him throughout it that include the "version" of the 23rd Psalm that I made up for him and helped him memorize when he was only 2 years old. He is 4 years old now and just starting to read, but I think I will save this book for a little while longer. I know he will treasure it, as it truly blessed me to read it!
