New to the group...or just now getting involved in it? Here's a tip...

By the way...Welcome!

So, are you ready for the challenge!?!

Well, my suggestion for the best way to get started here is to begin by reading the discussion "What's with the name?" (in which I officially issue "The Challenge") and work your way forward chronologically (oldest to newest) from there. I have them displayed with the most current post on top going down to the oldest post on the bottom. (That means "Deep Thoughts" would be next.)

I look forward to hearing feedback from anyone of you who wants to share as you are going on this journey along with me and the rest of us!!! Let's hear it!

Hi Haelie,

24 of us started the challenge, and 14 finished it. We had a few that ended the challenge in the New Testament. We have challenged another class and they have began their readings.

The 14 of us that completed the challenge will begin another study in the fall. I've been asked to lead another study on Bible in 90 Days, but to do that I will drop one other area I serve in currently so I won't burn out. The next one will be a city-wide study.

Am back to writing. The two blogs I was ready to post until life's challenges and family health issues hit last summer are being looked at through a new pair of eyes.

Take Care and God's Blessings continue to be with you,

Rose

Hey, Rosemary!  Sorry it has taken me so long to respond.  I too have gotten very busy, especially now that I do not work from home anymore.  So glad to hear your updates.  Will definitely continue praying for you and your Sunday School class.  How did the Bible reading challenge go?

Haelie,

Missed you! Have missed being a part of the community discussions.  Have taken a more active role in the church and recently had the opportunity to co-officiate with our senior pastor at a friend's wedding and helping to lead a prayer service at church.  Our Sunday School class will complete the Bible in 90 Days on Mother's Day.  Your and all community prayer members prayers will be appreciated as all class members seek God's directions for the next steps we will take.

Thanks also to Paul for the weekly inspiration articles.

Have a blessed Easter!

 Rose

Pastor James - I have definitely been praying for you, your family, and India as well.  Thank you for your heartfelt prayers for me.

Jules & Tami - You ladies have been putting some awesome discussions on here!  Thank you for carrying on here as the Lord leads!

Everyone - Do check out the latest discussions on here.  They are great.  Also, do keep Pastor James' requests in your prayers.  He is a precious man of God doing the Lord's work in India.

Hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas season, and if not, know that you are in my prayers.  Mine is honestly pretty tough in some ways as well, though God is keeping my light shining even through the tough times and my joy is even greater in spite of the trials.  Our Savior was born...and died for us...and rose again...and REIGNS today!!!  What is there to not be joyful about!?!  :o)
