Most of us know someone close to us who doesn't believe. It's hard especially when it's family and even harder if it's a spouse or a child. Share that burden here!

What has worked for you? Want prayer for a particular person (you don't even have to name them)? Persistant prayer is good but what about persistant questions and trying to get God into the conversation at every turn? What are your main worries about those who don't believe?
For those of you who are married to a non-believer... Do you feel pulled away from your faith or at least church activities? How do you cope with not being able to share the most important thing in your life with your spouse?
For those of us who have children... What things can we do to help our children believe? What things are a barrier to that belief? What role do other people within the church have to play? What about when they leave home what can we do to help keep them on the right path?

To all who prayed for Tony, thanks for your prayers. Our Lord took his hand and called him home in his sleep about a month ago. Barbara misses him, but knows he is free from pain and whole again.

Sandy, May our Lord continue to strengthen you and your family.
I ask for prayers for Tony and Barbara. Tony fell and broke his hip. It's overwhelming when you don't have dementia but even more so when one does. His surgery was successful. Now the hard part begins.

I am joining this group because I have two children. Our son is an ordained pastor and our daughter has left the church. She is living with her boyfriend. It is sad because she met her boyfriend at a Christian camp during a family camp weekend. His mother is also deeply Christian and the both of us continue to pray for them and I would ask for prayers that the Holy Spirit would move them to marriage.
Also my mother is an alcoholic; however no longer drinks. She is residing in a group home for those with Alzheimer's. For most of her life she has been angry with God for various reasons--so prayers for her would be appreciated.

Prayer for my son and his family is making progress. They wanted Christian items on the tree and in their house for Christmas, which I was able to prvide from my collection. And my son wanted a manger out front. His was the only one. It effected his neighbors, too. They stopped o talk about it. Praise God they are going in the right direction.

Still Prayin Hard for my Husband Michael!! For his Salvation..that one day He will "Believe"!! He does allow Me 2 teach our Children what I was taught as a child & He does Pray with Us at the dinner table,but that is about it! Prayin' that the Lord will keep workin' on his heart!! And also for my son Tristen ..he is not saved...Prayin' that the Lord will Bless Me to lead him to Him!! We only have him every other weekend, But I pray that the Love of Christ will touch him while he's here!! God bless
