I believe that you're right, Anita - GOD will provide us with the right mate when we are ready. I have made the mistake in the past of thinking I had found the right person spiritually, only to discover different. Being "on the same page" is key! Otherwise, values can be compromised. I say this from my own experience. Thanks, Anita!

I agree with you all but as with Mike...for myself I feel it would be more rewarding as a couple, to have someone you are close and transparant with who walk the walk together, sharing. It can though even be harder as a couple as then you often have flesh issues to deal with, each others baggage, you definately have to be on the same page spiritually which is often very hard to find in the vast array of Christianity to have a compatibility in areas of spirituality. God will provide I believe the right mate when we have come to a place where we are ready to receive that mate. God I believe will also use that union to create character in us ...so to be prepared to be tried and tested throughout the relationship. Are we in for the long haul?

I believe that it's possible to serve the Lord if you are single, but to me, it doesn't feel the same. I think that it would be more rewarding as a couple serving.

I too believe you can serve the Lord whether single or married. Infact, many people who served the Lord (mainly prophets) were single, and worked wonders.

I believe that you can serve the Lord being single as Paul did in the bible.
