As you go through your weekend find time to sit and spend some time dwelling in God's Word.  What verses in these chapters could you share with someone in need of finding God's love?

Chapter 24..

Ha! Apparently the lack of proof and factual evidence didn't stop Ananias, the high priest, from bringing charges against Paul, but Paul knew that no "true" evidence was available to prove their acccusations. His life above reproach had given him the right to be Bold and Confident. I want my life to be so above reproach that I too can stand firm against any and all lies told about me.

The verse that really stuck out for me was v. 25...Felix was terrified!"

Commentary from Life Application Bible; Paul's talk with Felix became so personal that Felix grew fearful. Felix, like Herod Antipas had taken another man's wife. Paul's words were interesting until they focused on righeousness, self-control and the judgement to come. Many people will be glad to disuss the gospel with you as long as it doesn't touch their lives too personally. When it does, some will resist or run. But this is what the gospel is all about. God's power to change lives. the gospel is not effective unti it moves from principles and doctrine into a life-changing dynamic. When someone resists or runs from your witness, you have undoubtedly suceeded in making the gospel personal.

And that's a good thing!
Chapter 25...

The Lord's choosing Paul was no mistake. Paul fit every single one of the character traits and qualifications required to fulfill all the things he was destined to do.

Paul was a Roman Citizen, which gave him access to Ceasar.
Paul was a Pharasee, so as a result knew the Jewish laws perfectly.
Paul was a zealous work-aholic. Zealous when he was a Pharisee, and Zealous when he became a believer in Christ.
Paul was inteligent - He was wise and knew how to manipulate bad situations and make them work in his favor.

We may not be a "Paul" with a resume a mile long, but we too were made by God with all the character traits and qualifications that make us perfect for whatever our own personal destinies are. We must discover what those traits and qualifications are and put them to work.
Chapter 26...

In spite of the fact that Paul had been in prison for something he did not do for 2 + years, in spite of the injustice and all he endured, his only objective was the share his own personal testimony and the Gospel to everyone, big and small, peasant and king...a perfect example of someone who is sold out to God.

When I grow up, I wanna be just like Paul..::(smile)
Chapter 27...

Paul remained strong even during the storms, he comforted them, encouraged them and kept them safe.

Even in my stormy life, I want to be a comfort to others, encourage them and see them through the hard places.
Act24:14-16, how the Paul talk about the GOD. believing all things which are written in the Law and in the prophets. and have hope in GOD. and try to conscience without offense toward GOD and Man and verse21 he say about the resurrection. it is impassble to believe, if people dose not see the resurrection of the JESUS. that is why Paul say "i am being judged by you this day." the Felix never see the JESUS. because of what Paul say about Faith in Christ. Felix became GOD fearing person. Paul speak about Truth because that they release him. buying time to tell others about the Gospel of the LORD JESUS. always speaking the Truth, then truely free from what ever faceing the problem. <:>/body>
