Bible Verse: But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.” (Acts 23: 11)

This verse was confirmation to Paul that his missionary journey was not ending in Jerusalem. God stood beside Paul and gave Paul a certified guarantee--A Promise. (My intrepretation of what God said) "Paul don't listen to what you are being told, don't look at what you are going through. I promise. You WILL survive this AND you got some more work to do for me in Rome." .

It did not matter what others said to Paul. It did not matter what the situation looked like. God's plans for Paul were NOT complete.


This verse says to me that my future, my steps are ordered by the Lord. I am not finished with God's work UNTIL GOD SAYS I am finished.

As usual, the Lord is making sure all the pieces work together, and all the right people are involved to make sure His plan for Paul works out.

And since God is no respector of persons, we can be assured that He will do the same thing for us.

Life Application...Inspite of threats and possible problems, the Lord will make sure the right people come into my life to help me. I too will be used by God to help others, by what I call "Divine Appointments". I must be on the lookout for those people.

Act, Ch23:1, Paul say about " Men and Brothren, i have lived in all good con-science before GOD untill this day." this veres is really speak to me. if the Paul have a really good con-science, i don`t think he is part of in killing of the Stephen. Stephen was full of Faith and the HOLY SPIRIT. our con-science is from GOD. if we have good clean con-science, knows about other person,who does not doing wrong we do not persecuting that person. anyway good thing is our LORD is Omnipotent,Omniscient,Omnipresent of GOD. HE knows us. every thought, motive, opinion.......Paul was beginning of Journey of mission work for GOD, he say like Ch23:1, but 1Timothy1:15"This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ JESUS came into the World to save sinner, of whom i am chief." we learn more more about Who, GOD really is we become more more humble our self. <:>< mia
