Reaching Out

Having a Christian bookstore in our community is something I have wanted to do for a long time.  But I always had excuses, i.e., children to raise, family to run, etc.

My husband retired and we moved to Arizona.  There was no Christian bookstore in Casa Grande.  We had to go to Phoenix or order online.  The thought came to me again about starting one here.  But I kind of pushed it in the back of my mind again.

Then several things happened, including a brother passing on to that heavenly realm.  It's then that I decided I better put up or shut up.  I prayed for weeks, my friends prayed with me.

God answered prayers.  A place became available to me and within a month we had the great "ribbon-cutting" for the Heavenly Haven of Books & More in Casa Grande, Arizona.

So much has happened in that place.  People love to come in for the tranquility and peacefulness of the atmosphere.  There are two people who have shown desire to learn more about God and we are working with them now.

Through this answer to prayers, I have found my "niche".  I love going to work every day.  I love providing God's Word for everyone in Casa Grande.  It has drawn me closer to God than I have ever been before.

I say all of that to say that God has a purpose for you!  And He answers prayers.  As one of my coffee cups says, "Sometimes He says Yes; sometimes He says No; and sometimes He says You Gotta Be Kidding!"  LOL  But He does answer prayers and you are His tool to spread His word.
