God is Speaking to you Today!

Praise God that the voice that spoke to Adam in the garden is the same voice that speaks to us today. We are no longer separated from God and the voice of the prophetic speaks louder and clearer through the accomplished work of His precious son, Jesus.
What has God spoken to you today? You would be surprised to know that God has whispered many things to your heart and you have most likely brushed it aside thinking it was your own thoughts and desires that you heard.
Well it wasn't your own whisperings. Go and do what the Lord has spoken to you today and come back here and encourage others through your testimony.

Well, I heard God's still, small voice and with His help wrote "What's the Big Deal about Spiritual Maturity?!?" and put it in the General Discussion for all to see. The prayer is that the ones who God meant to see it.. did. Whatever results from it are meant to flow from our free response to a loving God.

You asked. I answered. My dear brother James, I wasn't plugging an agenda. You asked a serious question that I answered with the same sort of tone. I've answered your discussions on the MLC when you were puzzled about the general level of response. Well, now you know.
Life gets busy. People get sick. Children need help with their homework. One day becomes another and so forrth. It's been four days since I wrote my answer. Your original point is still on target. The tyranny of the urgent will consistently win if one does not submit our day to the Holy Spirit. One won't hear the prophetic voice either if the schedule stays full. It's all part of the same issue. Do we allow God inside? IF so, how far? What conditions do we place?
That's all connected to spiritual maturity. Hearing the word about the future from the God who exists in all timelines at the same time, won't happen without spiritual maturity.
If you were wondering why the MLC has gotten relatively quiet, it's partially because the Enemy doesn't want God's Children to partake in the wholesome spiritual food laid out here like a buffet. It's also because coming into God's presence requires a lot of vulnerability. God sees EVERYTHING... including what agenda choices we made, etc etc. Was there a way to fit in some meaningful activity here? It's not required. It may not even be 'expected'. It still may have been on God's agenda for one's life. God doesn't want us to do things because we HAVE to do them. If that was the case, we would have been given instincts and hardwired like the birds that fly south for the winter.
I really love this group concept because drawn across the globe, God will reveal His plan for the future. The bible says He does nothing without telling His servants the prophets. So cheer up, we have two people at least to have a conversation.
We'll converse and have an amazing dialogue. Let everyone want to come join us because of the richness of the grace given to us.
