Is Prayer a effective weapon?

God knows before hand how we are feeling and what we are thinking about, so people wonder why we should pray if he already knows! God loves us just like our earthly parents did, and in time trouble, did we not talk to mom or dad about our worries? YES WE DID. God is our first and foremost Father and creater, he loves to help us with our shortfalls and concerns, so we kneel and pray to God for help and support.

I am in agreement that Prayer is a very Powerful Weapon, for me it is because in Prayer we grow deeper into the Presence of God. So, for me the more I Pray the More I keep the Awareness of God's Presence with me. Jesus says Come to me and I will give you Rest !!! It is not always easy when faced with Storms, test, etc in Life to be Patience to see what God has instore for us. My heart goes out to you Jim because I lived what you are dealing with at the moment When my husband was laided of work about 20 years ago. Our marriage and life because of the struggles are stonger today because we Trusted God! But my dear friend it was not easy. So you will as there are many many in our World facing what you are facing will always be in my Prayers. My oldest son was laid off in November, he is married with two children. So, it is hitting close to home.

That is why I joined the Community because we all Need a Source to come to to join together in Prayer growing deeper in our Relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ !! We are all one Body !!!

I am agreement with Jim and Trudy, I am unemployed since August. It's not easy but God is providing and keeping me peaceful and calm during this time. I know this to shall past. Trouble don't last always it doesn't come to stay but trouble comes to past. It's only for a season. During this time and at all times I will continue to bless and praise God. He has seen me through many difficult seasons and He will see me through this one as well. To all my brothers and sisters in Christ. Let's continue to pray and seek God like never before. It's part of our making will use this as stepping stones and step on to another season.
