I here more and more from TV, School, Government, States, books, magazines, etc where people can not pray this way or that way. Lets take God off of Money. This country was founded by God, on God and I believe that If we allow God to be taken out then he will not be here.

I am praying for God's Strength to Stand with Christ !!!!

"The Choice" -- one of Max's resent weekly e-mails -- God gave us Human's "The seed of Choice"

"To Love or not Love"

My Choice is Love -- So I will pick up my Cross daily and Follow Christ -- I will pray that all of God's Children come to make that choice 'FOR THE GOOD OF ALL GOD'S CREATIONS"

Yours in Christ,

Trudy

I am right their wiyh you Trudy for I to will take up my cross to follow Jesus the rest of my life, and do what I possibly can to see to it that we in America stay as One Nation Under God Indivissible With Liberty and Justice for All. For it enrages me evry time I here that they want to take God out of our great nation for God is the only reason we are a great nation. And I thank God for our troops that He gave, and strill gives victory through to help keep us this way. your friend misterp
you are right about this nation needs to be prayed for, daniel webster said this
: If religious books are not widely circulated among the masses in this country, I do not know what is going to become of us as a nation. If truth be not diffused, error will be;

If God and His Word are not known and received, the devil and his works will gain the ascendancy; If the evangelical volume does not reach every hamlet, the pages of a corrupt and licentious literature will;

If the power of the Gospel is not felt throughout the length and breadth of the land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness will reign without mitigation or end.

Our country is becoming no longer what are forefathers established, As we you said it was founded by god, but the politicians and citizens of today don't want or follow God. So satan influences them and we see our nation crumbling before us. We must come together again like our forefathers did and become a nation under god again. if we don't we face certain disaster as we go bankrupt among other things.
I agree so much about the waffle regarding how to pray. We only need to ask or thank God from the heart and he hears. I used to work as a medical secretary in england. the doctor I worked for came in and threw a list of herself and 10 other doctors on my desk and told me that she needed a meeting with them within the week and they all needed to be there. If there are more than 3 doctors involved it can take a couple of weeks to arrange such a meeting and the other secretaries in the office were laughing. I checked the list, made another list of when my consultant was available and put my hand on the phone. Before lifting the receiver I raised my eyes to heaven and just said one work 'Please'. I had the meeting arranged within an hour. After this had happened about four times one of the other secretaries had a similar problem and she asked "What was it you say". I told her she had to believe God would help her and mean it. By the time I left the hospital several years later all but one used to do the same thing (and had started asking about my beliefs). The one who didn't do it said it was a load of rubbish, but she was the only one who still had problems with arranging meetings. It is only a small thing to those looking on, just using the one word as a prayer, but it is noticed that God is there and does help if asked from the heart.
I am reminded of 1 Samuel chapter 8. The people said to Samuel give us a king. God reminded Samuel that the people were not rejecting Samuel. It was in fact God that they were rejecting. Often times in the OT when the people wandered away from God, God put in place circumstances in order to drive them back to Him. I sometimes wonder if He may be doing that very thing with us right now. Is he letting us as a people have our way and letting us as a people mess things up. If so, then one day as a people, we will have to say to God, "Lord, we've tried it our way. If it's okay with You, we'd sure like to do it Your way again." Blessings, Jim
Our nation needs prayer now more than ever. Instead of concentrating on God;s grace given to America, people concentrate instead on our country's flaws. As a teacher, I reminded students that if they put the same amount of effort on succeeding instead of cheating on an exam they could be brilliant leaders. Likewise, I think our efforts need to be on prayer and succeeding as a nation.
We're just as bad, if not worse in England. A nurse lost her job cos she offered to pray for a patient, another woman who was a registrar was demoted to secretary because she refused to marry a gay couple, another woman was called into the nursery because her 4 year old daughter had been talking to another child about Jesus. If I were still in England I think I would have lost my job too because on a Friday a Muslim doctor I worked with and I used to discuss (discuss not argue about) our differing beliefs. We did it for several years until he got a new secretary and she hit the roof telling us to stop argueing about our religions. He told her we weren't, we were discussing them. You couldn't get repremanded for it then, but you can now. Not sure if he would have been, but I sure know I would have.

I think this is a great topic for prayer. In my opinion due to the fact that we all have "free will" to choose who or what to believe in or simply to not believe in anything as far as a higher spiritual power I wholeheartedly believe that our great nation should uphold the basic principles upon which it was founded and grant religious freedom to all, including those who believe in Christ. I personally believe in Jesus as my Lord and savior, granted I would never try to force my beliefs upon anyone else, but in this era of political correctness I think that Christianity and the right to pray to God in the name of Jesus should be respected as well if people choose to assemble and peacefully do so.
Amen !!!

The first thing I do every morning is go into prayer !!! The presence of God is Glorious !!! The challenge to me is just like Peter -- I want to stay up on that Mountain Top -- Where there is so much quiet, peace, joy, Love but What was Jesus answer to that, No way !!! We must go down and spread this Joy, Peace, Love -- This is the reason I first joined this Community, I thought How great this would be just to be able to have a safe, joyful, happy place to come to to share FAITH -- Nothing is ever that simple -- God always calls us to do more, go deeper -- ACTION -- Put this FAITH into ACTION -- with that comes FEAR -- what others think, or say but God is strenghting me more and more to step out of my comfort zone into the ream of the unknown Where Jesus is -- Holding out his Hands -- Like when he called Peter to step out of the boat onto the water and walk to him. What happened when he took his eyes off of Jesus ????

Well, in the shower after my prayer, I am so strenghten by God answers to the ACTION start coming. Someone once said to me that when someone asks you to pray for them, stop at that Moment and pray with them. That is always a challange for me --

So, In light of That lets come up with a prayer we can all pray together -- I thought of the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE --

Since we are praying for our Nation, My Action I am going to do today is Buy an American Flag for my Prayer Room, my car and to put outside of my Home and every morning and through out the day I will say the Pledge for our Country !!!

I will, along with Jesus, Stand -- for One Nation, Under God, with Liberty and Justice for All

Yours in Christ,
Trudy

I have a print hanging on my office wall at home entitled "Prayer at Valley Forge." It depicts General Washington kneeling in the snow with his horse standing by. A blast of steam is erupting from the horses nostrils to emphasize the cold. The bones of the horse are visible beneath the skin to emphasize the harsh conditions a young America is facing. The hands of the general are gripped so tightly in prayer that you can feel the tension in his hands and yet, as the early morning sun shines on the general's face you can sense the serenity God is providing him. The matting of the print has an opening to display a small plaque which quotes II Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." I wholeheartedly agree with all the posts recommending prayer for our nation. He will hear from heaven. Blessings, Jim

We need to address the immorality of this nation. Germany ignored it and it led to six million Jews dying. When our Vice President use f bombs for the whole world to hear and the next day the President condons his actions it is an embrassment to us all. We have have taken God out of our country it has lead to towers being destroyed, gay marriage being accepted.
It is time that believers take a stand for God for this country. Instead doing so much complaining if we corporately got our knees and prayed to God to bring back America. It is time we rallied with pray and action to put God back in this country.
We must clad ourselves in the full armor of God and praise him and ask for his intersession.
I was talking to some people at my church this morning who said they drove by one of the sports fields in my town enroute. An organized sporting event for children was going on. Man, how things have changed. When I was in school, these organized events were never scheduled for Sunday morning. What a terrible message we are sending to our young people. We, as Christians, have our work cut out for us. We have been told to keep our opinions to ourselves and our silence is deafening. Blessings, Jim
