I here more and more from TV, School, Government, States, books, magazines, etc where people can not pray this way or that way. Lets take God off of Money. This country was founded by God, on God and I believe that If we allow God to be taken out then he will not be here.
I am praying for God's Strength to Stand with Christ !!!!
"The Choice" -- one of Max's resent weekly e-mails -- God gave us Human's "The seed of Choice"
"To Love or not Love"
My Choice is Love -- So I will pick up my Cross daily and Follow Christ -- I will pray that all of God's Children come to make that choice 'FOR THE GOOD OF ALL GOD'S CREATIONS"
Yours in Christ,
Trudy

Permalink Reply by Patricia Violet Joy on March 20, 2010 at 1:35am I am reminded of 1 Samuel chapter 8. The people said to Samuel give us a king. God reminded Samuel that the people were not rejecting Samuel. It was in fact God that they were rejecting. Often times in the OT when the people wandered away from God, God put in place circumstances in order to drive them back to Him. I sometimes wonder if He may be doing that very thing with us right now. Is he letting us as a people have our way and letting us as a people mess things up. If so, then one day as a people, we will have to say to God, "Lord, we've tried it our way. If it's okay with You, we'd sure like to do it Your way again." Blessings, Jim
Permalink Reply by Joshua Broom on March 23, 2010 at 3:48pm I think this is a great topic for prayer. In my opinion due to the fact that we all have "free will" to choose who or what to believe in or simply to not believe in anything as far as a higher spiritual power I wholeheartedly believe that our great nation should uphold the basic principles upon which it was founded and grant religious freedom to all, including those who believe in Christ. I personally believe in Jesus as my Lord and savior, granted I would never try to force my beliefs upon anyone else, but in this era of political correctness I think that Christianity and the right to pray to God in the name of Jesus should be respected as well if people choose to assemble and peacefully do so.
Permalink Reply by Jim Pokorny on March 24, 2010 at 5:56pm I have a print hanging on my office wall at home entitled "Prayer at Valley Forge." It depicts General Washington kneeling in the snow with his horse standing by. A blast of steam is erupting from the horses nostrils to emphasize the cold. The bones of the horse are visible beneath the skin to emphasize the harsh conditions a young America is facing. The hands of the general are gripped so tightly in prayer that you can feel the tension in his hands and yet, as the early morning sun shines on the general's face you can sense the serenity God is providing him. The matting of the print has an opening to display a small plaque which quotes II Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." I wholeheartedly agree with all the posts recommending prayer for our nation. He will hear from heaven. Blessings, Jim

Permalink Reply by Jim Pokorny on March 28, 2010 at 5:18pm We need to address the immorality of this nation. Germany ignored it and it led to six million Jews dying. When our Vice President use f bombs for the whole world to hear and the next day the President condons his actions it is an embrassment to us all. We have have taken God out of our country it has lead to towers being destroyed, gay marriage being accepted.
It is time that believers take a stand for God for this country. Instead doing so much complaining if we corporately got our knees and prayed to God to bring back America. It is time we rallied with pray and action to put God back in this country.
We must clad ourselves in the full armor of God and praise him and ask for his intersession.
