Jim, it is always a bit scary when change enters our lives. Exciting as well.
My practical side asks for you to check on the stability of the new company, do they have a high turnover, and how do you feel about the work?
In these situations, I also look for that sense of peace when I make a decision. God's calm is there when I am listening and choose wisely.
My prayers are with you. You are well in tune with God and will make a wise decision. You also have a wonderful wife as a prayer partner.
Heavenly Father, please be with Jim as he seeks Your path. Change or move to a new opportunity? Grant Jim and his wife wisdom and discernment. May Your peace cover them when they hear Your answer. With praise and thanksgiving this prayer is offered in Jesus' name. Amen
Thank you Ellen. I have had to seek employment quit often in the past 4 years and i have always looked at it as if, i get a call from an employer it is in fact God giving me other options. God has never and will never piont to or place a big red neon light saying here is your job. I fully agree with you Ellen that we must do our research on a job offer and then place our concerns at God's feet and ask him for guidence. Thank you for your prayer and i will keep you informed.
I trust in you to make the right decision.
God sometimes needs to give us a wake-up call or reminder, so enters questions of change. Remember last time, it was about somebody else who needed your prayers. Being alert to God's purpose is key and His peace is so wonderful when we find it.
Prayers continue for your decisions.
With faith comes wisdom and through wisdom i have learned that it is not about the money when making career changes and we must enjoy what we do, do it to glorify our God and always allow God to be part of our daily job duties.
You also have my prayers that God will lead you in the right direction. It just might be a new chapter in your life.
Blessings,
Donna

When will you have to make the decision? Would it be a good fit? Is there any chance of going permanent where you are? Have you discussed this other offer with the supervisor where you are at? If you advise them of this, it could force a positive decision on their side for you. I will pray for you!
I want to say thank you all for your prayer and i got a call today asking me to do an interview with the company tomorrow. I love God and God loves me and so i am putting my full trust in the Lord and ask him to give the ability to hear his words as i am answering the queastions and asking him to lead me in making my decision on whether this is the right job for me.
I know that He will guide you and that you will hear what He wants you to do for I know you are a great man of faith and want only to do his will. Blessings to you my friend.
