Friends, at 7pm PST/10pm EST, I'll join in the community to answer your questions.  I won't be able to answer all but we'd love to do this from time to time.

Thanks!

Hello, Max! I will go ahead and submit my question for you now. Hopefully you will have a chance to answer it. Thanks so much for doing this!

My question is: How can I "outlive my life" when I can barely "live" my life? Considering constant financial struggles, work/family/health issues, busy schedules, etc... Of course, now that I am just about to begin reading chapter 4, I can truly see that you are already in the process of answering that question through the book even this early on, but I thought it might be a good one to bring up here in this forum.
Hello Max,What was your favorite books as a child? Because I love your childrens books and so does my son.
Thanks for taking the time to read my question.God bless.
Hi Max, first off I love your sarcastic humor and metaphors that you use to give the audience different feels of where you coming from. Love it! I would like to know what are some things you did when you were in that 'dry' place in life, where it seemed everything had stood still, like God was putting the answer to your prayers on hold? I'd love to get back to the time in life when my smile was real and I was comfortable; instead of tense. In my heart I know this too shall pass, everything is well 'by faith' but I'm looking for the tangible faith in my life. I pray, read the bible, praise God and live His word in my life before Him, trusting whole heartedly but at times it seems hard to enjoy life when you feel like climbing under a rock and hiding because you exemplify and minister all this faith but to those being ministered to that's just talk until they can see my peace, faith, joy and not just the longsuffering, yet in my heart and spirit I have them all.
Haelie, I know what you mean.. I am 55 and can't get out but to go to the dr. and thats a struggle with all the health problems I have.. The only thing I know to do is pray for ppl and just keep believing that God healed me 5 years ago from
severe panic attacks. Now I am waiting on Diabetic ulcers on my feet healings, also from neuropathy, fibromyalgia etc.. I want to be able to do so much for the Lord, and I just can't. I just want to no for sure I will get to heaven. I was saved and baptized as a child, walked away from the Lord about 18 and rededicated my life at about 48.

I think Max would tell us with health issues and your busy schedule, to pray , love ppl and do for others when u can, and obey the word of God and read the Bible to know them.. God loves us, we are His children and He knows the struggles and the times we live in. God bless you. Marilyn
Max, how do you answer people who say they don't believe in God or Jesus because of "all the wars and terrible things done in the name of God?" True, there have been horrible things (ex. The Crusades) done in the name of God, but there have been terrible things done in the name of big business, oil, sugar, alcohol, Hitler, et cetera, too.
Hello Max! In your book, "The Great House of God" - at the end when you put the Lord's Prayer all together with your thoughts from the book, why do you omit, "and deliver us from evil" or where do you include it that I miss? Thank you for sharing your incredible gift of writing and preaching and sharing God's word with the world.
Hi Max, Thank you for spending time with us. I can't wait to get my hands on this book. I'm in my early 50's and am in a position (due to downsizing) to start over, go anywhere, do anything, be anything. I'm tired of living the status quo. My question is: how do I begin to make those changes/choices that will help me outlive my life?
One more question if I may: my father is hostile toward God because my younger sister has Rett Syndrome - a congenital disorder of the nervous system that has left her developmentally stunted, what used to be called "retarded." He says, "I cannot believe in a God that would do this to an innocent child." How does one answer that?
Hi Max,

How do I find answers for my husband who has more often than not felt not good enough, stupid, a failure. Has been unsuccessful in making a living in his business although he won't give it up, as that would probably make him feel like a failure. He is happy when he's spending money, but he doesn't have much to spend. It's been an ongoing vicious cycle for too many years. He has a negative answer for anything I try to say to encourage him because he just feels he can never have what he wants. Ruth
Hey Max what will it take to get you to visit us in Alabama to speak or visit a conference? Every time I read a book or quote from you I get so inspired. Thanks for allowing God to use you to paint pictures for the body of Christ.
Is it possible to lose your salvation? What if a person continues to live in sin?
Haelie,

Thanks for the great question. It is important to serve within your giftedness and realities. Analyze your strengths and passions, balance those with your prior commitments and se if you don't discover a good game plan. You may be at a stage of life where your plate is full. If so, be patient. At the right time God will slow things down and you can ramp things up.

Max
