A barren tree blooms into a spectacular thing of beauty. Clothed in white flowers in a sea of green canopies.
A child sleeping. Peaceful. Children playing, laughter; a lighter heart. A troubled soul finds words of encouragement, a hungry person finds food.... When there are no answers yet the peace of God is in you and all around you. When the future looks bleak and you are comfortable knowing he knows your future.
Sometimes life forces us to miss the point. God is everwhere everytime. He never leaves and is always near to those who seek him. He smiles with us and holds us close. We are his children the works of his hands. For me every time i look out of the office window and i can see the beauty that is mount Kenya and the picturesque background that is presented by un touched forest cover i can feel him whispering in my ear. Every thing is going to be ok. You are a daughter of Zion.

For me, it's watching the sunset from my front door step, watching my kids laugh at some silly joke, seeing the first fruits on my trees and bushes and having my youngest run to give me a hug when I've been away overnight.
I found these words today. Today is the day when they helped me, Emily. Thank you!

It's kind of hard to write with God looking on over your shoulder. He knows I'm talking about Him. I can feel His presence here with me. It's distracting because I want to just focus on that. Honestly, I do see His art in creation as a way to connect with God. The spark of awareness that this particular divine thought that He had is now blessing me - and that this was part of His intentions all along helps me. I feel so small sometimes.

Example? There was this early morning walk I had. Living in the urban jungle, you forget about nature sometimes. THere is a tremendous impact from all this concrete. On this morning, I encountered a possum, walking with me down the sidewalk at 5 in the morning. The wildlife is still here. I also have heard that there are a flock of parrots that reverted back to the wild and they have found food and multiplied. Here, in case you are curious is more information:

The same thing goes for finding holy people who are seeking righteousness. It may seem like they are smothered under a culture devoted to self. Just a short walk with God, reveals person after person who have kept their hands and their heart clean. That to me, is a smile from God.
Hi Emily,

Sometimes our busy-ness tried to deter us from remember God is with us everyday, not just one day a week. Thanks for the post and reminding me that being God's child in the beauty of God's universe, how can I help but smiling?

Blessings,

Rose
I have been going through a rough week this week, but this morning, coming home from work God lifted my spirit. I work at a golf course, it is white with snow, frost and the beauty of nature. Driving through I saw a deer and then a bushy tailed fox. I stopped the car and thanked God for the beauty and wonder of all that He has created. He lifted my spirit and made me see that life wasn't so bad...He is such a loving God. Praise His holy name!
Amen to that. I wish everyone would feel the same way
