I am so grateful for this discussion of Unity in the body of Christ by sis.Desiree.God in creation was united according to Genesis 1:1-8,26-30 and Christ called the Church to unit but the Church is not.How can the Church wins the unbelievers when the unbelievers are not obeying their Master? In unity there's strength and strength to prevail over situations.Just imagin a situation in my country Liberia.there has been three days of terrible rain that brought destruction on homes and left a two years old child dead and left my house roof off,we went to one of our neighbors'home and they refused to let us in it was a muslim who opened his home to us and it is the same place where my family are sleeping until I can get funding to put back the roof while I am sleeping from place to place.Though this did not discouraged me but if I was not a firmed Christian that would had.So we need to come together as Christians in whatever,Time can not permit me but will write again when there is.

Praying for you and your family, Jerrie!!!
We work with disadvanted children. some of the children we first met living on the street when we first came here are now young adults. they know they can't live here because of how we are regisgtered as a charity, but they also know they can come and stay for a few days while they sort problems out. as Christians we must all work together, whatever religion or none. the story of the good Samaritan should be a lesson to all of us, Jews and Samaritans, if not enemies, were not friends either, believing as many Christians do today 'I'm right and you're wrong'.
Jerrie,
I agree with you that "in unity there's strength to prevail over situations". I will be praying for you, your family, the child's family, and everyone who was affected by the rains.
Hang in there and know that God will never leave you.
God Bless you all,
Donna

Jerrie,

Prayers that God's presence and peace will be with you all as the roof is replaced and one by one the community of Christians come together so others can be witness to God's presence in their lives by showing hospitality and love for there brothers and sisters. Blessings, Rose
Thankk God for you and your continue prayers for and with us.I am so sorry that I did not reply soon all because of the cost to be on the net daily.Well,my family are still sleeping with the muslim fellow while I sleep around. For we are still trusting our God to prove Himself in touching the hearts of those He wants that they may minister to our need. For anytime I tried to find a job to do to help sustain my family and to meet others need I will frustrated in that he told me to work for Him in fulled time.I know that the world now is tough all over and it takes people who are sore to God to give to a person that's why I want to work but anytime I tried i get frustrated.

Jerrie,
I will continue to keep you in my prayers. God will prevail although you have a very tough situation going on. Just know that there are lots of people praying for you, and in time, hopefully it will get easier. But till then....hang onto your faith with all your heart and soul and know that our Father in Heaven is with you and you can lean on Him.
I'm very sorry about your father....but our Lord and Saviour is taking care of him....so try to hang in there and do the best you can, because that's what God wants you to do.
I send my love to you and your family.
God Bless you all.
Donna
Thanks for your love and care.I know that I have friends in Christ praying for and with me.Though I am wholely and sorely depending on God to tough a heart to help me out financially. For I know it is the total grace of God that is taking me through.Again thank.
Jerrie,

I just read this whole discussion. It's a very hard thing to have such strong needs and not know where to begin to have some answers. Very, very sorry for your loss. Jesus knows. My connection with hardship has been ongoing. There is no point in sugar coating what is, in fact, very bitter. I will have to consider carefully what response I can fully provide. I will ask God what I should do.
