Per Nostradamus, the world should have already ended. Per the Mayan calendar, the world will end next year. Should we look for the end, wait for it, look for those portents and signs? Someone…Continue

Hello All,
How are you doing? And how was your Christmas?
Rose
Have you ever had someone in your life you did not extend mercy to? I have done it many of times! When a particular person hurts me deeply I have to make a decision. Unfortunately my anger and bitterness take over. Then I hold unforgiveness in my heart towards that person.
"Who are you helping most when you forgive the person who hurt you? Actually, you're helping yourself more than the other person. I always looked at forgiving people who hurt me as being really hard. I thought it seemed so unfair for them to receive forgiveness when I had gotten hurt. I got pain, and they got freedom without having to pay for the pain they caused. Now I realize that I'm helping myself when I choose to forgive." - Joyce Meyer
"... if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins." - Mark 11:25
No matter how deep the hurt or the offense we must forgive others. Also, forgive yourself for past sins and hurts you have caused others. Show mercy to others since you have been shown great mercy.
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. - Colossians 3:13
Forgiving a person from the heart is a true example of God's love.
There is nothing that can separate us from the love of Christ. (Rom. 8:38, 39)
Had God not said those words, I would be a fool to write them. But since he did, I’m a fool not to believe them. Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. But how difficult to embrace this truth. You think you’ve committed an act which places you outside his love. A treason. A betrayal. An aborted promise. You think, he would love you more if you hadn’t done it, right? You think he would love you more if you did more, right? You think if you were better, his love would be deeper, right?
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
Hello Friends! I love these words from Max himself. They give me hope time after time, when my day to day life seems less than an example of holiness. Have I said Yay God yet today????????? Yay God!!!!!
First, I would like to thank Kate for inviting me to this group. Max Lucado is one my most favorite authors and ministry leaders.
The Lord is good and His love endures forever! Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! I'm very thankful for His faithfulness and mercy. Looking forward to connecting with all of you.
Kate,
Have you also looked at Max Lucado's new devotional for your lady's group?
