Being Love to Each Other
I'm going to be mysterious because I have to honor confidentiality. If you knew that a member of this community was facing life or death choices, alone, what do you think Jesus would want you to do? Help right? At least extend some kind of tangible benefit - that's how I read the epistle of James.
From the start, this need is bigger than any one person here. If you were the one who knew what was required to fix this, you'd throw up your hands and say "I can't." And you'd be right. Each one of us would likely have to respond in the same way. While I'm being mysterious, let me get a few facts out.
1) This member has not EVER asked for help other than prayers.
2) This member is lacking the necessities for life.
3) There are no social programs where the member lives.
I'd be happy to give more details person by person and/or answer questions. (Including how to give if God leads you to) If you send me a friend request so inbox messages work, I'll be checking my community updates frequently. Basically if a few people give a dollar (and that's all I am asking about.. ONE dollar).. we can as a community say something profound about meeting needs in this gathering of believers.
Before the debate unleashes..., because it will.,.. let's pray about it.
Father God, I'm scared. I know perfect love casts out fear.. so that's why I dared to write this in the first place. I'm trusting that You are there to touch the fears of my brothers and sisters who are tired of being taken advantage of-- deceived out of their hard won earnings. Please send Your Spirit ahead of this message to confirm to the right people that this is not a human activity at heart. I cannot touch hearts, I can only touch minds. Only You can touch the heart. I ask this in Jesus' Name for the sake of the Love I have for this person... Amen.

Same here, my friend. That's part of why God brought us to this community. Like I said in the message sent, I don't have much, but I'll help with what I have and I know God will multiply it all in a way that will tremendously help this person.

Sister MIa, the 'hurdship' is very big for my friend. I thank you for your love. It's love that will change everything. The meaning that we give to the problems is one of the few things we have control over. For me, it's knowing that i am not alone. That fact is my biggest comfort. Thank you so very much!

It's been about two weeks as you can see from the date on this last message. Some people may not have seen or considered this discussion. We're not done. This is still on going.
It's important to consider that especially if you decide not to send a dollar, that you are open to God's Spirit to help in some other fashion. We're created for good works. My prayer is that you are invested in Kingdom Ministry. May God 's wisdom reveal your best way to love.
